Updated Foxtrot contacted us with ideas for communications dedicated to the Love Season and March 8. During this period, all electronics retailers are talking about holiday discounts, so we needed to stand out from the crowd and remind people about us and our discounts.
We decided to start from the fact that our communication should have a practical benefit to the audience. So we decided to speak from the position of a friend who can advise something really useful and relieve stress at a time when everyone is worried about what to give to their loved ones.
Throughout our lives we have been given many unwanted gifts, which are later hidden somewhere in the closet. And if we spoke up and chose gifts together, they would bring us much more joy.
The video metaphorically plays out the situation with unwanted gifts that are stored in the closet or covered with dust on a shelf. You should not try your luck, it is better to choose gifts together.
We visualize the image of the mutual selection with the emoji of the raised finger, which repeats the appearance of the cursor cited in the link. Using two cursors at the same time intuitively speaks of a common choice.
We drew our own emojis to actively use them in communication.
On March 8, we continued to develop the topic of unwanted gifts, which was already partially touched upon in the previous video. As a result, a series was formed.
Emoji are also used here as tools. They enabled us to make the series known and complete. In this case, we used several emojis that characterize human interests in the form of an equation, the solution of which is a specific useful gadget.
Expensive flowers used to be the go-to gift on 8th of March. But what would happen if all men suddenly changed their minds to take part in it? This idea and video is universal for both Love Season and March 8, so we used it for both holidays.
